why Plan your safari through us

Planning a safari is a big decision. It’s a significant investment, often to a part of the world many travellers have never visited before.

We’ve spent years planning and experiencing safaris across six of Africa’s leading safari countries and visited more than 25 national parks and private reserves, seeing first-hand what truly makes a safari exceptional.

We are not travel agents and we don’t sell safaris

Instead, we connect travellers with trusted, locally owned African safari operators and agents we have personally planned safaris with and travelled with.

The local operators and agents we connect you with are licensed, reputable businesses who run and plan safaris on the ground and play a direct role in supporting their local communities and conservation efforts.

We’re passionate about ethical, sustainable tourism and believe the people who live and work in safari destinations should be at the heart of your experience.

When you enquire through us, your details go directly to the local operators or agents. They design and manage your safari and you book directly with them.

You will never pay more by enquiring through us, the price is the same as if you contacted the operator yourself.

Why we connect you with local safari operators & agents

Booking with a local African operator or agent versus an overseas travel agent is often better value, supports sustainable tourism and means more of your investment goes into the safari experience itself, but we also understand that booking directly with a local operator in Africa can feel daunting.

For example, in countries like Tanzania alone, there are over 7000 local safari operators. It can be incredibly difficult to know who is reputable, ethical, properly licensed and who to trust.

We’ve been there ourselves, researching for hours, comparing hundreds of operators and trying to work out who we can trust. It can be really overwhelming and isn’t always straightforward, especially if you’re planning from another country.

That’s where we come in.

We spend months researching, vetting and getting to know local operators and agents before ever recommending them. We also travel with every operator we work with to experience their safaris first-hand. You can read more about how we choose the operators we recommend here.

Our role is to bridge that gap, helping travellers connect with trusted, locally owned safari operators, so you can book locally with confidence.

Giving back

Giving back is an important part of how we travel and who we work with.

Through our safari partnerships, we are able to donate to carefully selected community and conservation initiatives across Africa. This includes supporting a locally run orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania, as well as contributing to the care and protection of an orphaned elephant and rhino in Kenya.

Your safari enquiries and bookings help make this possible. Thank you.
